I second that, just freakin' amazing. He is the whole f***ing team. A one-man-wrecking-crew is there's ever been one.

Sanders would only need a bloop to tie it. I'll take my chances with a HR to lose rather than Sanders getting lucky.

Astros will lose in seven. You don't recover from this.

There was no reason to pitch to Pujols there. I agree with others, that's completely inexcusable.

Not when the guy hitting the HR is Albert Pujols, you don't.

It's official: you NEVER pitch to Pujols (Barry Bonds rule).

i applaud Garner for his 'gut instincts' but it's pretty much common f*ckin sense to not pitch to Pujols. I rather have bases loaded and take my chances with Sanders. I thought that was why Garner went up to talk to Lidge

    "Walk Pujols. Get Sanders out"

    my goodness...

Oswalt and Clemens should be fine. We'll just do it again on Wednesday.

Never pitch to that man he is the second best hitter in the game. If you walk bonds with the bases loaded you walk pujols with 2 men on base.

Totally agree. Putting the tying run on 2nd is a stupid idea. You trust the best closer in baseball to get a great hitter out.

I blame Fox. Showing all that Colt 45 retrospective stuff with two innings left, then giving Berkman the player of the game award with two outs left. I cringed when they did that.
