We can get Carpenter, we have been banging balls, but we have to come right back NOW...can't let him get confidence going.

I don't want to go back to St. Louis.....and revisit last year.

I agree about coming right back and touching up Carpenter before he really settles in.
The guy's living on the edge,I think we're going to knock him out of the game.

Agreed... but this team does NOTHING easy. They had to trail 6-1 before they decided to comeback in game 4.

I kinda wonder what they're thinking right now, being in the position they're in... definitely uncharted territory.

ufff This start to smell bad to me.. :( We need some runs badly, Carpenter is heating up, and that's not a good sign.

This game is so funny... just look at the contact Grudzelanek and Biggio made vs. Berkman.

    Results... completely opposite.

Also, Carp is starting to look pretty good... and the ump is starting to be more liberal with his calls.

strike 3 to ensberg hasn't been called all day. we've gotten enough bad breaks over the years. we don't need makeup from yesterday. we're still owed.

Looks like Carpenter is settled in now. We should have done more damage when we had the chance!

Carpenter is locking in...and that is not good.

Got to be ready to swing.

    Morgan looked WAY overmatched.

    Damn !

Big inning for Andy...he has to come back and have a very economical inning...keep it close to give us a chance.

I wonder what Ensberg's problem is. HE has looked terrible all postseason, save for the perfectly placed ground ball RBIs v the Braves.

This game just has a bad feel to it right now ... when we were down 1 on Sunday I felt confident for some reason, but it feels like Carp is settling in. We need someone to come up BIG!
