Definitely- the smaller the image the more squares hitting the most color sensitive center of the eye at once, instead of having to look around where they don't jump out at you as quickly. I don't see how that can't make a huge difference. Also if anyone has their brightness maxed out, try turning it down some.
Wow between my tablet & notebook, both with IPS displays supposedly, I get a pretty consistent 10 point difference between the two. Even when I scale the image to the same size, low 30's vs. low 40's.
Zero ambient light must be a factor too. I haven't been able to get the scores I was getting at 4am this morning for some reason, when it was pitch black.
25. I got stuck on one of the colors which took like 10 seconds. Otherwise it was fairly easy to see. The Chinese pun with the word color is also pretty funny.
