For some reason I feel better about winning GAME 6 on Friday than winning GAME 7 on sunday

reason is because of TMAC's playoff history and the pressure of him advancing

We arnt expected to win GAME 6 but if we force a GAME 7 it will be ALL ON TMAC again ....... CAN HE FINALLY ADVANCE OUT OF THE 1st RD! I really hope he does but he has gone thur every possible GAME 7 situation almost.

03' Up 3-1 vs Detriot and LOST GAME 7 in DETRIOT

05' Won first 2 game in DALLAS ..... and LOST GAME 7 at HOME

07' Won first 2 game at HOME ..... and LOST GAME 7 at HOME

Maybe you're right. Still, I think talent-wise, we're definite underdogs in both series but we're closer this year than in '05.

this is a huge factor I think. When TMAC is playing on no expectations he owns. He is not a very good frontrunner.

the difference is we actually didn't have a bad start this season.

What were we? 6-1 to start? Maybe that changes things in your proposed path to doom

wow, when I look at this 05' roster I am so disheartened by it. Its just Yao and T-Mac, and the rest are just a bunch of benchwarmers or ****ty fringe NBA players who shouldn't even really be seeing anything but garbage minutes, and the old Mt Mutombo. Obviously on paper we weren't going to bea the Mavs back then.

So glad our current squad is soooooo much better!!!!!!!!!

    Impossible is Nothing!

Once again Tmac and Scola will lead the Rockets to Victory!

Sometimes, late at night when I am in my bed, I miss the WBSS, aka the white boy super squad. Remember how they would run along shaking their hands like they were shooting dice after they made a three? JVG used to go a little crazy inside when they did it, but I laughed every time.

    Yao Ming
    David Wesley
    Tracy McGrady
    Scott Padgett - WBSS
    Bob Sura - WBSS

    Jon Barry - WBSS
    Mike James
Ryan Bowen - denied entry to WBSS. Sucked booty, except defending Dirk.
    Moochie Norris
    Dikembe Mutombo

it was called the White Boy Power Squad

    WBPS

    get your facts straight son!

Flyin' Ryan was a key contributer to that fearsome foursome too.

Just to clarify, we lost game 7 in Dallas. Tmac never had homecourt till last year.

Ryan freaking Bowen played alright in 05...

I mean the rockets did won the first 2 games which he started... then Padgett started game 3(?) which he didn't provide any offense at all and sucked it up on the defensive end.

I always wonder what would've happen if JVG sticked with the Bowen on Dirk right from the start strategy...

i feel much better about this game 6 than game 7 in both years past. we just blew the team out in game 5, and we have so much confidence. all the pressure is also on the Jazz. however, if we win game 6 i'll still be nervous about game 7.

    Had a feeling.

If Tracy doesn't fo off for 40 its a bigger loss than it was.
