Not to mention how the 2nd quater ended. Loose ball foul on stackhouse(not called). Then the ref passed Dallas the ball instead of throwing a jump ball. I think the ref sould have got an assist on that pass:rolleyes:

Anyway, backs aginst the wall now, let's see how the react.

There is a conspiracy and it's by Stern to get the most watched series to 7 games. If Rocket's sweep or take it in 5, then ratings will fall.

OK OK, we all know it was a BS call. We already have plenty of threads about this one play. Lets stop whining about it. Although we did get hosed in this one, we still had plenty of oppourtunities(see free throws). It's behind us, at least use the other cry baby threads instead of starting a new one.

that jump ball was God-awful. deke would've needed an airline ticket to get over to where it was.

and yes, jon barry did nothing wrong. he was leaning forward from his pivot foot with his arms extended to put the maximum possible distance between him and a defender behind him. since he was on the baseline, he knew he didn't need to protect it from that. although, i guess he did do something wrong, he forgot he was on the rockets and he was playing the mavs and should've known finley could just take it away from out of bounds.

Tonight, on national TV, I witnessed a grave injustice. I have lost faith in the integrity of the league. Is it too much to ask for a fair and evenly called game?

NBA disgraced itself in front of its fans today. Its like the Pope walking out in public and stripping himself stark naked in front of little kids. The difference is that the Pope would never be able to repent, while the NBA refs will be rewarded by the almighty David Stern. :(

jon barry knows more about basketball than all of us combined. he knew where he was on the court with the ball, he knew he had it secure, but for all that he knows, he is just learning the endless possibilities of being able to hack away at the ball from 3 feet off the court.

Sometimes it goes our way, sometimes it goes their way.

It's a shame, but it happens. Phantom fouls, missed calls, it's all part of playoff lore.

Tonight, we were on the short end of the stick. Thankfully, there's still life. It can still be overcome.

That's the worst missed call I've ever seen. It was completely obvious Finley was out of bounds.

Bad officiating is part of the game of basketball.

We didn't lose this game because of the refs. We lost this game because our defense was bad for the majority of the night, we couldn't get rebounds and loose balls, and we failed to convert clutch FTs.

This series is not over yet, and instead of b****ing about the refs, Houston fans should come out and support your team at home on Thursday.

I disagree - when two great teams, so closely matched, who clearly are going to go down to the wire everytime....when it's so close, every call counts. You can argue that missed free-throws were key, but you can't say that the officiating didn't matter.
