Thankfully there's actually people that get it. Save the enerygy booing Lin, or anyone in the team for the opposing team. What benefits Lin or the team when he gets booed by the team fans whenever he touches the ball? Perhaps better motivation to throw the ball out of bounds or kill himself after a game if that's what you guys want. Sheesh. Yes he played like crap. No he did not quit. And until he's quit on the team, NEVER EVER boo your own player, we're classier than soccer fans.
Everyone please boo him. If that motivates him to play better, I'll take it. Why do you think Ryan Braun has hit .385 with 6 HR on the road this year. Because he gets booed and that motivates him.
You call yourself a fan? At least have the decency to wait till it's clear that the rockets are playing their last game of the season to make a point to management. Until then support the team, like a fan is supposed to be.
I was mad as hell at that play, but I'll never boo a Houston Rocket. Let alone one that works hard even though they made very poor mistakes. Boo the OP, this is ridiculous. Perhaps another team's fan trolling or a very weak hearted fan imo.
Really really angry at Lin right now but.... .....dont support booing him. He is a good guy with good intentions. He cares and he tries hard. In the end though he is just a dumb and limited basketball player. It is the Rockets management team to understand the shortcomings of Lin as a player and address them.
Let Lin go to some eastern conference feeder team, let him run his own show and net something that helps benefit the rockets hopefully, hoping for a Lin/Asik dump then chase Melo, he shouldn't risk his future on roses glass knees. That way I get to support Lin and enjoy watching him play to his strengths, but not have to deal with some of the shocking decision making.
So here is why you don't boo Lin. There is a .005% the rockets come back from this. Its close to nothing, but its something. For that to happen, Lin will have to play well. Fans booing him won't help. Wait till he goes to a different team.
I'm sorry but he's got to be the dumbest, most cowardly player on the floor at all times. This was the equivalent of "Linsanity"... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1fw1CcxCUgg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Flash in the pan, but now his luck is gone, and all we are left with is a mentally handicapped liability.
I understand the frustration and the need of a scapegoat, but this is just PLAIN WRONG. Com'on man, don't let a loss get the better of you.
If each game so far has been a coin toss - i.e., odds of 50-50, then the Rockets have a 1-in-8 chance of going 3-0. The Rockets have home court twice in three games. It's not yet quittin' time.
**** like this is what makes me think maybe we aren't ready to win a ******* thing yet. If we can't have our players back thru thick or thin, than we don't deserve ****.
