and kobe's been better offensively (although not this game). you absolutely have to account for the defenses each is facing. every time pierce runs a pick and roll, he gets a layup, kobe never does. and damn, the celtics aren't floppers to any real extent, but they love to take a tiny amount of contact and just fall down in slow motion to get a foul call like garnett just did (posey being the king of that type of foul call).
are you kidding me on that odom foul? not only was it going out of bounds and you didn't have to make a call, but how did he foul? nevermind, it was pierce. we might as well let pierce blow the whistles at the ends of these finals games.
and kobe doesn't get a friggin' foul call when he drives in? i guess pierce does have the whistle. kobe with a huge steal and dunk to get the lakers back up 4. they'll still lose but at least kobe finally did something.
He really hasn't. PP had one game where he was non-existent and didn't even seem to try much (Game 3), but they've been neck-and-neck otherwise. I haven't looked at the stats, but I'm guessing he's been slightly more efficient from the field, as well, and a bit more aggressive going inside. Either way, I don't want to waste much time on this, it's inconsequential for the most part.
