no he hasn't been. even if you could argue he was the best, it is far from easily. getting to shoot layups over gasol and radmanovic all day against no interior defense and having 4 guys help you like crazy on defense can make you look even better than you are (not that he hasn't been good).
Even if they end up being edged out for this game, it's beyond clear that they own the Lakers. They pretty much make a run any time they want to. The only thing the Lakers may have going for them is the foul problems for KG and PP. It will be interesting to see if that affects the Celts defensive pressure in the remaining minutes. I'm sure Dick Bavetta is itching to foul one -- or both -- out to extend the series (just throwing some red meat for the conspiracy theorists ;-)
Before PP and KG got their 5th fouls, the Celts were clearly in the drivers seat. Now it's very doubtful both guys can finish the game. KG's foul was especially foolish.
the nba is clearly fixing this. that's why the lakers have been called for more fouls, the celtics have shot more ft's, and kobe got his 4th foul midway through the 3rd. the fix is in boys.
It's particularly funny that the ticky-tack whistles that Laker fans claim "you can't call late in a playoff game" (see Spurs-Lakers, Game 4, Barry/Fisher) seem to go the other way when it's the Lakers on offense.

Kobe is still passing it. the only guy i trust on the court not named Kobe is Fisher, and he just clanked one from the line.
No, that's just the Laker/Kobe fan in you speaking, you can try to downplay it all you want. PP has been more impressive than Kobe throughout the series, especially with his D. Help or not, he's just been better.
were there 3 seconds left on those calls or something? don't pretend you don't know the difference. i mean pierce goes to the line every time he looks at the basket in the final 2 minutes in this series.
