I love JVG calling out the Lakers lack of defense. I still want the Lakers to send this back to Boston and actually beat them but I like JVG's keepin it real comments.

i like doc rivers holding his hands up looking for a foul after the celtics have just gotten about 5 calls in a row and pierce didn't even get an offensive foul on the other end.

what the **** are guys like walton and vujacic doing? just fouling at halfcourt trying to "pressure" someone they have no business pressuring. luke walton's worthless ass just took it upon himself to cost his team 2 points by being stupid. that is definitely "fake hustle" b/c you're a loser trying to make it look like you're trying and you cost your team.

and do we have to give pierce credit every time kobe doesn't score while 4 other guys are helping him out?

the lakers are so ****ing worthless and everyone on the celtics is just amazing. pierce trips and falls but posey nails a 3, cassell is getting 3 point plays, they tip rebounds. meanwhile lamar odom can't grab an uncontested rebound, fisher is bricking wide open jumpers (and vujacic has missed about 4 open 3's), kobe is throwing it away instead of shooting.

    [agent smith]it is inevitable[/agent smith]

This is what an earlier poster meant by saying the Lakers aren't mentally tough. They were tough enough to close out the Spurs but the pressure of these Finals (and, yes, the Celts defense) is clearly getting to them. Their stupidity on defense is beyond moronic.

kobe has made plenty of mistakes, but at least they're usually mistakes trying to make something happen. the amount of mistakes the other lakers commit just out of sheer stupidity is amazing.

I still want to see this series sent back to Boston, I just like the atmosphere there a lot more than in LA. It's certainly a lot more intense, and may be the Lakers would play better not having the pressure of the opponent holding the trophy on their home court.

That being said, I can't complaint right now with Sam and Posey representing the way they are. And Pierce has shown more heart/toughness than the entire Lakers team combined (Kobe included). He's been easily the best player of the series thus far.

Yeah, but Sam is the real Rocket -- core member of the championship teams -- only two left.

Maybe I am expecting too much, but why doesn't KG have better footwork when he is posting up? Dream in his prime would be eating Pau alive down low.

The collective group of Radmanovic/Walton/Vujacic/Odom pretty much torpedo'd this Laker team.

I don't know what happened, but the Paul Pierce playing tonight is completely different than the last three games. Sure, he's making shots, but it's the way he's making them -- driving straight to the basket every play and beating defenders off the dribble. His knee didn't allow him to do that at all since Game 1, but apparently the extra day off made a big difference.

while they are being stupid, in general they're just playing a team that NEVER FAILS TO MAKE A PLAY. like cassell scoring 7 straight on tough shots. who on the lakers does that? posey hitting another highly contested shot in a big situation. pierce always making plays.

meanwhile gasol lets pierce drive in every time, no one plays interior defense, and gasol looks lost on offense.

edit: lol, 16-2 run. the lakers should be about to go up 3-2 in this series. but they have blown a 24 point lead (20 with 18 minutes left) and have blown a 14 point lead here in about 4 minutes.

gasol fouled big time, no call.

    Jump shooters don't need footwork.

A 16-2 Celts run since it was 88-74. Just wow!
