Uhh I’m not to sure about that. They have a coach who is a master at making adjustments. We, on the other hand just think we can flip the switch. We can’t.
The loss sucks. Losing homecourt sucks. Make no bones about it. However, we got away with a crappy game at home against the t-wolves and eked out a win. This will show us that we if we play this way against utah and can't win, then we certainly can't do it against the golden state showers.
I thought we would lose 1 game this series, but I figured it would be in Utah. I still think we'll win 4-1 though. This was a good wakeup call.
I don't know if I'd use the term "blessing in disguise", but the Rockets can certainly learn from this. Adversity is something virtually every team deals with before winning their first title. Hopefully this is the last time they disrespect an opponent and take a win for granted in the postseason.
upset about losing homecourt? you have to be able to win on the road in the playoffs regardless. theyll get homecourt adv back. relax
So it's good that they lost game 2, because otherwise, they probably would have lost game 3? Why would losing game 3 when you're up 2-0 be worse than being 1-1?
Disguise? No! A disgust. Loss is on MDA for going with the brick bros and the team for coming out weak. We’ve seen how dominating this squad is and if they can’t tune it in for the big stage we are going to have a hard time advancing... And. Juck the fazz!!!!
Because now we will bring intensity on the road. To shut them down in their own building will really hurt their fan-inspired confidence.
I'm just trying to look on the bright side. I actually used 'wake up call' when talking about it elsewhere lol.
It's all good. Don't take it personally. I don't buy in to those types of rationalizations. The Rockets are going to lose again, and they are going to look disinterested again. That's why I think it is pointless to turn every loss into some sort of positive. Instead, accept the fact that the NBA is an ultra competitive league, and no team or player is perfect.
