It's definitely a tougher environment to play in, so I can understand why they all said that much, but it seems like only Lebron was significantly affected. The Spurs' accuracy was off the charts late in the game. I can't remember any other Heat player dragging so much.
I really shouldn't even indulge this, but I'm morbidly curious. Who, precisely, should be suspended for this absolute travesty?
why risk heat exhaustion and running down your older players if you are San Antonio? Seriously, think about that. Too risky. Heat is too unpredictable. Lebron just can't take the heat and it happened. It will be cool in the arena going forward. But seriously ask yourself, why Lebron was the only player having issues?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Danny Green says Spurs had cooling fans in their locker room at halftime. Heat did not have them. Heat had Stephenson cooling fans the whole last series. <iframe style="display: none;" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="no" id="rufous-sandbox" frameborder="0"></iframe>
The Spurs have depth, size, and play team ball. Miami's reliance on LBJ and lack of any type of inside game will always hurt them against a team like SA, and those disadvantages will be exponentially multiplied under those conditions. I wouldn't dismiss the idea that this was done on purpose....... State of the art systems ....and who stands to benefit? We've seen situations like this occur before...Jazz time keeper...NE's snowplow clearing out a spot to kick the winning field goal...and so on. Given the chance, the Spurs would have gladly played this game in the old Boston Garden. So, the place was turned into the closest facsimile of it. This was no accident.
They should start by levying fines on the organization as a whole, but particularly the ownership. Greg Popovich should be issued an infraction. If there is a second offense, Tim Duncan should sit out the duration.
