I really enjoyed that place the few times I went. I would sometimes go there with an elder couple that I knew from church.
If you are looking to waste your money on mediocre food, small portion sizes, bad wait staff and small, loud seating environment, try Bubba Gump.
I like some of the food they have there. Mos def. M&M is pretty good also. Knew a few of the chefs there. Dinner Menu Brunch Menu
I took your advice a few years ago and ate there. Loved it and have been back many times. Have not been there in about a year, though.
Same here. For the price and location it's hard to beat Benno's. I love their bread pudding and just about everything else too.
Last time I went to Bennos it was really slow, but then again it was the peak of summer. Food has never disappointed me though.
For great Italian, try Mario's on 61st street. Great seafood fettucine, spaghetti scapara (not on the menu but just ask for it), and eggplant parm. I think it's one of the most underrated places on the island.
Seasonal seafood is my favorite thing to get in Galveston. Two of my best meals were stone crab claws at Bennos and blue crab claws at Shrimp and Stuff.
