Yeah, but there's a depth to Shane's interviews that other "well-spoken" athletes don't have. Granted, I missed this one, but he definitely seems very smart.
umm.. I missed it, I had class.. Did I miss anything important? or was it just the usual good-guy Shane articulating all his words really well as usual?
I heard some of the interview. He said he wasn't sure what he was doing on court and that he's still learning. And yes, he sounds intelligent. He can be in politics when he retires because he sounds trust worthly and gives the impression he has a good head on his shoulders. Well, if he's still learning, Wow, he's going to be pretty good once he gets the system down. He was everywhere and doing what a great roll player does, he scores, D-up, draw charges, dive for balls, drive for lay-up??? (I though he was only a 3-pt shooter?) his 3-pt shoot looked good too. The man can play ball. And he's still learning? OK, this is going to be fun to watch Don't we all wish the guy he was traded for not name Gay had just a little more IQ than he did. What a waste on talent. As for Gay, if you saw the game, he looked OK..... against the 3rd team and he shoots way too much. Then again, he was probably the goto guy on the floor for them at that point so and it's his 1st game. And while I liked getting Shane, Rudy G might be OK when he gets a little playing time in the NBA.
thanks for recaping what you caught. nothing earthshattering. shane is still learning the systerm. i'm sure everyone is still getting used to new plays and new players.
Hi. I just spotted this thread...is there somewhere that I might be able to hear this interview online or to read a transcript of it? Thanks. BattiersBaby.
