Note that Griffin does not have to start. All Crisco needs is a quote from Rudy that says Griffin is our answer to the SF position, which he basically has already done. The "who starts", "who gets into game 1 first" part of the bet was ONLY the tie-breaker fall-back position of determining a winner should we not receive a definitive Rudy quote. The bet was always about Rudy stating in public that a new SF is charted ahead of Dan Langhi. The quote is the primary bet-settling fact. Who starts was simply a tie-breaker should no quote surface. That is why my side has lost unless Mo' leaves and Rudy is forced to change his immediate plans for Griffin by making him a PF out of the gate. The only other way we win is if Griffin is traded for a center/PF and Shandon is resigned type of deal. Both those situations would really piss me off, and no true Rocket fan would cheer for that just to keep your moniker. I concede. Game is over; I hope. I'll post the matchups today.
