Im not sure why you’d draft a QB.

there’s a lot of players to a football team. If you’re near the top of drafts that don’t have great QBs don’t waste that pick.

if you look at the top QBs you have just as many non first round picks as top 5 picks.

I don’t think people have watched the games. Willis is not a good QB, he’s an elite athlete playing against lesser competition.

His arm while strong is not on the same level as Corral, Ridder or even Rattler. Similar to Howell.
The only thing he has on the other QBs is speed, but he’s not much better scrambler than Corral or Howell.

Then factor in size and level of competition, it should be Ridder, Corral, Willis/Howell, Strong

With how bad our offensive line has been I wouldn’t mind Neal either

We need to trade Tunsil ASAP. While he has any upside reputation left.

I watched his game the other night and did not have the same impression as you. I've seen most of his games this year.

The fun of evaluating as arm chair fans. Also, the reason for busts and steals in the draft.

His tape as a QB doesn’t equal his stats. He makes unscripted plays in a simple offense. He’s not doing what Ridder does or even Corral. And against real opponents.

See what he does against Ole Miss

I can't wait for that game.

And I don't necessarily disagree with you. I think Willis definitely will need to sit for some time, but this team should be okay with that, if they like him.

I disagree on the arm talent thing, though.

Corral has some decent tape. He turned me off against Alabama, though. Though, I admittedly didn't see the whole game.

Ridder is very intriguing to me, personally. He has a cake schedule the rest of the way, but I am going to try and watch the rest of his games.

Corral has the best arm in college football. Ridder is right there with him.
It’s right there in the tape, there are throws that are unbelievable and you can’t keep track of the ball it’s coming out so hot.
Willis has a strong arm, but it’s not in same league as the other two.

I like a strong arm, too, but Ryan Mallet's arm was infinitely stronger than Deshaun Watson's or Tom Brady's.

Yes, but Ryan Mallet arm is like Willis.
Corral arm talent is like Rodgers, in fact they are very similar in terms of talent. The accuracy with power and ability to extend and run.
Corral tape against Alabama was elite last year. This year wasn’t spectacular but not bad, Alabama is just too good.

Meh on the flip side the strategy didn’t work out for Cincy, Cleveland. You’re hearing guys like Justin Reid talk about the clubhouse.

Now adding young talent on the other hand is going to take time. Our stars other than Watson were already peaking

Strong actually has the best arm in college football. IMHO

I think Strong can throw it the furthest. The zip that Corral shows on 30 yd p rods is ridiculous. The old adage about it jumping off his hand. Add the ball placement and accuracy and he legit reminds me of Rodgers
