You make good points. Time will tell. As of today, Chet is hurt so it makes sense. Let's give it a few more years and see.

I'm not mad at all about Battier. Said another way, if you redrafted 2001, were there 5 gives you'd take over Battier? For fun, I took the 2001 draft and sorted by total points scored in their career. Arbitrary, I know but is a flavor. I figured the answer is no. After looking in hindsight, there are definitely 5 guys I'd take over him. Battier probably drops to about 8 for me, on this list.

    3: Paul Gasol
    10: Joe Johnson
    38: Tony Parker
    19: Zach Randolf
    13: Richard Jefferson
    5: Jason Richardson
    31: Gilbert Arenas
    25: Gerald Wallace
    9: Tyson Chandler
    38: Mehmet Okur
    6: Shane Battier
    14: Troy Murphy
    4: Eddy Curry
    26: Samual Dalembert
    #1: Kwame Brown (lol)

If Jabari reaches Shane Battier level of productivity, based on what I'm seeing now, I'd consider that great!
