Shane Battier is a 6'8 SF, Jabari is a 6'11PF/C. You dont really find 2 way PF/Cs other than at the top of the lottery. Al Horford, LMA, Kristaps Porzingis, JJJ all these guys were top 5 lottos. Even if Jabari ceiling ended up as Royce O Neal you still take that shot every time and tbh even Royce O Neal is doing great work on the Suns RN.Its the difference between Blue Chip and Crypto. Crypto Chet may give the highest returns but as we can see he can also crash and burn for an entire year. Blue chip Jabari may never be a star but he is almost guaranteed 15 yr career in the NBA.

Chet only played one full year out of three I'd def take Jabari in a redraft. Whats the point of superior talent sitting on the bench? You mad about Shane Battier full time the other dude isnt even on the court lmao.

You make good points. Time will tell. As of today, Chet is hurt so it makes sense. Let's give it a few more years and see.

I'm not mad at all about Battier. Said another way, if you redrafted 2001, were there 5 gives you'd take over Battier? For fun, I took the 2001 draft and sorted by total points scored in their career. Arbitrary, I know but is a flavor. I figured the answer is no. After looking in hindsight, there are definitely 5 guys I'd take over him. Battier probably drops to about 8 for me, on this list.
