He just turned 22. He was projected to be a one and done when he originally committed to Kansas but didn't fit particularly well with that team. That's what happens when you have too many players that feel entitled to minutes. Was an elite prospect and one of the top players in the nation going to Kansas. He re-established his value and talent here at UH in the following 2 seasons coming back home.
Grimes was always the better player. Glad he's doing well. full time starter on a playoff team. His hard work has definitely paid off
