All the commercials and movies they've done have had the same voices, I don't think they're changing anything, sounds like a steaming pile of malarky to me.

Those posts are from like a year ago...

For further confirmation, check out this article from 2 weeks after the one saying they were recasting

I think I mentioned this here once before but Futurama is the only tv show, movie, story, anything to have made me cry. I shed a tear for it. A small tiny tear. The episode where Fry wants to bring his dog back to life. The ending... tears.

Bad news, everyone...the first two eps are not very good at all. I was very disappointed. Even Zapp was mediocre. :(

I don't think it ever got mentioned in this thread but the salary issues with the original voice cast got worked out and they're all back for the new episodes.

I thought the episodes were pretty funny. Even after all these years, the show brings back the same style of comedy. Honestly, I couldn't even tell it was a new episode.

Comedy Central where Futurama went to die. Both episodes were very ordinary bordering on bad.

They felt like late South Park: very... unenergetic and doesn't play on the original premise - a guy from the year 2000 transported to the future.

I personally think they should feature the more recent "in" stuff that Fry was just shy of experiencing : the first black president, Facebook, etc.

I thought the first one was hilarious. The 2nd was okay, although I got distracted for the 2nd half of it.

I also couldn't tell it was a new episode. Felt just like the old stuff to me. And just like the old episodes, people don't appreciate them when they first air on tv.

yeah, I watched them a few days ago. I was pretty disappointed and didn't think that they were any better than the movies. Hopefully it gets better.
