I used to like FOX, now they make it hard to watch. They want to jam pathetic shows down your throat (Ally McBeal, Undeclared, The Tick), and it's sad. They squash quality shows that acquiring nice following (Family Guy, Futurama, Sliders, Brimstone) but love to keep on tired TV shows that have out-lived their usefulness (Beverly Hill 90201, Party of Five, Married With Children). I'm guess they're going to replace those shows with some pathetic soap opera type show or some Dawson's Creek rip-off. Sad. It was obvious that they sabotaged Futurama to have a reason to cancel it.
Make that 3. I saw a couple of episodes, and unless they improved it since, I was unimpressed. Same goes for Family Guy. To be honest, as much as I hate to say it, The Simpsons has really gone downhill lately. I wonder how much longer that show has...doesn't really matter, I guess. The best shows are already in syndication, anyway....
Well, FOX did say when they stopped ordering new episodes of Futurama that they had enough episodes in the can to last at least another season, especially since the Futurama season has been only 13 episodes long of late (thanks to the horrid timeslot).
Make that 4! I too, wasnt to impress with the first few episodes and just never gave it a chance again. Although, I did like Family Guy. As for the Simpsons, I couldnt agree more. The are some funny ones here and there but the show is giving Lisa TOO MUCH attention.
