    The USA looked HORRIBLE !!!

    No attack, no control, looked out of sync...things need to improve a LOT before next month's world cup or for sure it is 3 and done.

    Why exactly is football any more or less acceptable than futbol? Or do you just like to whine about things?

    I don't even think that was Morrocco's best team....If they can't play well against Morrocco's third string lineup, how are they going to handle Totti, Pavel Nedved, and Michael Essien?

    Yeah, I realized after I responded that he was probably just trolling and I should have ignored it.

    I have thought more about it.

    John O'brien looked ok, Johnson got into some plays and should have put away the header, Landon Donavan looked ok, but Convey looked great.

    But the defense was very leaky.

    Our defense was very solid with the exception of the last goal where Cherundolo made the mistake. Our problems came in midfield, where after we lost Reyna and O'Brien we had no one who coud control possession and make the final pass to the forwards. We had zero width for the vast majority of the game, which made our attack one dimensional.

    Yep, no doubt. Especially in the World Cup, where upsets only happen about once every twenty years or so.

    This message board, and most of it's users, are based in the U.S, an English speaking country, not Latin America. Futbol is just wrong. It's soccer, or if you tend to like the British way of things, football.

    It's just stupid to use the term futbol.

    As I said in another post, it's about as dumb as prefacing a baseball thread with [Besoboru] just because that's what they call it in Japan.

    Agreed. It should be called soccer. RocketFan007 likes to be cute with his words. In another thread he tried to tell me that soccer uniforms were called kits, because that's what the Brits call them. KITS? Like the annoying chick from cold pizza? Ghey.

    Futbol or soccer, it doesn't matter, there are no official languages here, nor in the USA.

    :D

    And the English language is from Briton Texx....

    Kits = Uniforms
    Pitch = Fields
    Wanker = Bigtexxx

    ;)
