The only defender who played tonight that has a chance of playing in Germany is Pope, and he's likely a bench player. If Dunivant continues his impressive run, he could make the team, but he's a long shot. The keeper, Hartman, won't even make the squad.

Great game! The USA looks really good, can't wait for the World Cup! We could've scored 5 goals had we wanted to, but the team relaxed after getting the big lead.

Well, is there a temporary job opening in some German gadget company? ;)

Come on DaDa, we're counting on your play-by-play live from the World Cup...you would be letting down the entire BBS. :p

Man, I am trying, I got tickets with a buddy in the UK, we have a big trip planned for guys only most of us late 30s early 40s.....futbol is just such a much more exciting event in person.

I will say, I love that the US seems to be getting much better in creativity, and in it's set pieces, which gives me a lot of hope.

I'll be in Germany for the US's first four games, I can't wait for it.

They played well tonight until the last 20-30 minutes. Dempsey and Twellman both had good games again and are making a strong case for being on the WC squad.

Watching it at the Arms was a blast, having 30-40 people chanting and chearing when the US scored was great.

My office in Manchester has season tickets at Old Trafford, been to so many Man U games, and love the atmosphere.

I even went to a Man City game, and THOSE fans are nuts.

LOL! Yup, and I imagine they might treat you like royalty once they figure out that you're a ManU fan from overseas...they appreciate the dedication, I am sure. :)

Oh, and just for fun, spend a day with soccer hooligans, if you're the adventuristic type. ;)
