Im so mad that I miss last night El Salvador's game, my dad was raving about how well they played and how ALOT of people were shocked on how they dominated Costa Rica. Can anyone who watched it give me any more details?

That NY-Toronto match was a lot of fun. 4 penalties, two missed, and 8 fantastic goals. Good call by ESPN. Giovinco easily could have rained in 5 goals with two off the post but settles for 3 slick ones and an assisted.
Games like these are why I really hate CONCACAF. Mexico gains nothing from this game since their goal is to compete against the worlds best teams who don't willingly give you 80%+ possession. Guatemala gets nothing from this game because this hack and bunker stone age **** football will take them no where. Fans lose watching this abomination of a game. Beautiful game my ass, not in CONCACRAP!!! It pisses me off that both the US and Mexico have to play and stay here when clearly both have bigger ambitions and have outgrown this **** federation. Even if a team wins the Gold Cup, literally no one important gives a ****. World football doesn't even blink an eye. Not an accomplishment of any importance in world football. Proves absolutely nothing if you win this CONCACRAP title. Paper title.

Congratulations, Guatemala, on a somewhat successful similar system of defending-until-possible against Mexico like the U.S.A. had in the early 2000's... but not able to score on one or two counter attacks like them. They have no Landon, Davies, or Morris and Pescadito isn't that good anymore. I think this might be his last World Cup try. Our inability to create attacks since Chicharito was gone is going to haunt us. I can't believe we can't beat USA, Honduras, Guatemala. Next is Trinidad... who might even score on us.
USA soon to be the dominant world team. So the shift will be here. And everyone will want to play in this tournament as these team improve by playing us.
