    I didn't freak but I wasn't sure what he was trying to accomplish. Putting that ball into space was the only correct option.

    Scored on lucky bounces and set pieces.

    I'd be happier with built attacks and well-prepared plays that end with my team scoring with skill. Yeah, I know it sounds like I'm saying the score is no good, and yes, you would take the three points because you win, fine... but you know you would like to see a team score better than that.

    I am rooting for El Salvador to finally beat Canada tonight.

    I'd rather see all over-head kicks off of perfectly lofted crosses.

    Of course there are better ways to score goals. No one here was showering praise upon the U.S.A after that game, in fact it was described as "lackluster" by someone above. I don't know why you had to phrase it like we think it was anything otherwise when we all agreed it was an ugly win.

    Well finishing has always been El Salvadors weakness, but gawd damn how that Canadian striker missed that sitter was incredible.

    It happens ALL the time with players defecting after they play and they decide to just touch U.S. soil, Cuban political problems, etc., when they come over... :( I feel sad for this because the beautiful game gets tarnished like that.

    Should shoot back up after this tournament. The reason the CONCACAF teams all shot down was because 4 years ago the Gold Cup was played in June.

    So with these July rankings we lose all the Gold Cup points earned back in 2011. Plus everyone else has either played Euro Qualifiers, or the Copa America. Next month we should get a boost.
