USA is in HD on Fox1, Mexico standard def on FS2................

I think the start times have to do with the geographical locations, no?

Or that's simply how the brackets were designed?

When it's just English language tv, the word "mexico" doesn't show up until #22.

I think you're right. USA is playing at Georgia Dome in Atlanta while Mexico is playing at Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Clearly east coast west coast issue. Nothing get's past USA fans, most passionate and knowledgeable soccer fanbase!!!

If only we were coordinated and passionate enough to yell "puto" every time the keeper kicks the ball downfield. I can't wait until we develop that eye for the nuances of the game.

God YSA was so cringeworthy, puto is pretty lame too.

My favorite part last game was the time the Costa Rican gk went to kick it, the fans started to yell puto and he just passed it to the rb standing outside of the box.

The confusion in the Mexican fans during the UTOOOOO part because the ball wasn't in flight and had already been received was pretty hilarious to see.

    The keys for today are

for USA - don't look so bad on the counter, Haiti exposed them with their counters and luckily their finishing and decision making wasn't that good so they didn't convert any chances. Klinssman has to expect Jamaica to pressure early to try to score then probably go to a bunker/counter approach.

for Mexico - don't give up an early goal and don't get frustrated if you don't score early. You know Panama will probably take notes from other matches and realize that Mexico's finishing/set piece defense hasn't been up to par this tournamentand will try to expolit that.

    Having said that I'm saying

    US wins - 2-1
    Mexico wins - 2-0

I agreed with the above (USA needs to be careful with the fast Jamaican players- that also have a decent attack) USA still wins

Mexico- Man there defense and there lack of finishing up goals is a reason for concern.. They move the ball so well and create opportunities but need to finish them against Panama

USA probably got the extra day so their game is earlier.

Should be a fun game - we have soccer practice, so am DVRing the game - but will be watching afterwards, am recording both matches...too.

It was a matter of time before someone abused that US defense.

    Needs some work.

US will tighten up and tie it late in the game.

It will be interesting to see if US can come back. They look like they were dominating Jamaica early. You think Yeldlin will get in the game at half?
