lol what a gift for Mexico. Kinda like how they snuck into last year's world cup with a pathetic qualifying performance.

Can't wait for daddy USA to bend them over again and pump them full of freedom

^ You like making those references but you don't like it when we say what we yell out at your goalie kicking it into play, eh? LOLs
It did get chippy by the end of the game, but Mexico still ended up having more booked people than Costa Rica. :(

My dream final, Haiti vs T&T is over. So much devastating potential that final would have had, damn shame.

Last years wcq'ing for Mexico was gift like, interesting take.

Yeah, of course it was, we could have laid down against Panama and put Mexico out of their misery.

Another interesting take, WCQ'ing is only one game apparently.

Most USA "soccer" fans are 'MERICA!!!, USA!!!, USA!!!, USA!!!, basically a lot of hot air and noise and that's about it. The rest is mostly **** "soccer" takes. Very uneducated and simple fan base that knows little about the game but thinks they know it all. The American media is even worse!!! New drinking game, watch "soccer" highlights on ESPN or Fox and try not to cringe. Take a shot every time you do!!!

What about Mexican fans? Do they specialize in throwing beer and urine at visiting fans? Now that is truly the height of an educated and sophisticated fan base.

What about the millions of people here who cheer for, say, El Tri? Are they not American?

Clearly. Also they have major problems, they commit crimes, do drugs, and rape people.

American meaning root for USA National Team, not nationality. But thanks for pointing that out, I can see the confusion.

In reality most Americans (now as in nationality) don't root for the USA primarily. Most root for Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Scotland, etc... USA is a 2nd team.

Crap, what does that make Mexico then, like a 10th team?

Clearly you're a troll but at the same time clearly the Mexican NT is more popular than USA NT in this country. Does that piss you off? I would probably say USA NT is the 10th most popular NT team in America. If not top 10 then just outside, very close.

    2015 Gold Cup Attendance,

    USA in Frisco 22K
    USA in Foxborough 46k
    USA in KC 18K
    USA in BMore 38K

    MEX in Chicago 54k
    MEX in PHX 63K
    MEX in CHA 55k
    MEX in NY 74K

No chance maybe back in the 90's and probably the early 2000's the US was lagging behind but nowadays it's firmly #2 behind Mexico.

The US has been getting pretty impressive support the past couple of years both ratings/social media and attendance.

This is bush league trolling. You are pulling that out of thin air and you know, even by the "eyeball test" that the US is not "outside of the top 10" in its own country. That's ludicrous.

Aside: you know other countries call it "soccer," too right? That little burn doesn't work when the game is referred to as soccer in Australia and New Zealand, among other places. South Africa chose to call their World Cup final venue "Soccer City," too. It wasn't Americans changing it from "Football City" to sound easier on our sensitive, undeveloped ears.

No trolling in this thread at all not even from Bigdumbasstex and DD. Nothing but quality posts from everyone.

Semis today, USA with a weaker bracket and extra days of rest have no excuses. Mexico should also win but they'll probably leave it for the dramatic. Let's see if we get a USA vs MEX final that no one is expecting, a real shocker!!!

That is so common that it doesn't even need to be remarked upon.

Why does Mexico get the Primetime (8 PM) Game tonight, and USA
have to play at 5 PM (When most our at work here in the USA)

That should tell you who is the most popular team (even in the USA)

The schedule/times were announced before the start of the tourney. Whomever won Group A, if they advanced to the semis, would play at 5PM.
