Nobody hates Flynn aside from his contract and garbage play. Mchale actually called him real coachable, and he got the lion's share of backup mins in preseason before he proved he just sucks.

You guys are getting out of hand with grammar policing this dude's tweet. His comma usage there is fine. Comma's are used to separate two adjectives describing the same noun.

He probably had it all grammatically correct, but had to backspace and edit to save characters.

FOUR mistakes. The apostrophe, the double negative ("never hurt nobody"), the missing period at the end, and "proofreading" is one word, not two.

The key to going all GrammarNazi on someone, JF, is to first make sure your own house is in order.

Oh come on, by all accounts he works hard in practice and stays ready. That's what he gets paid for. There are plenty of guys around the league that aren't in the rotation.

Actually, the double negative isn't necessarily a mistake, it just changes the meaning. In addition 'proof reading' is not a mistake, again, it just changes the meaning. The second sentence can be interpreted as:

"There is proof that reading does hurt somebody."

So, the only real mistakes are the lack of an apostrophe and the lack of a period. :)

Meh. So not all double negatives are mistakes, but this one is because it doesn't convey what JF intended, or at least not in a grammatically correct way. The same can be said for your possible interpretation of "proof reading" -- not to mention that interpretation would make it a fragment and not a complete sentence, which is wrong, too.

Hey, Jonny F. started it. That's like complaining about someone else's crossover when your own crossover needs a lot of work.

I like it! Great kid and funny too. Just cause he missed an apostrophe and it's a little slang doesn't mean anybody* needs to hate.

i have no problem with Flynn earning money, his rookie year was serviceable and we made the move for him so it's not his fault.

I also hope he doesn't play meaningful minutes for this team.
