Well, the NBA fines players for taking off their warm ups at the scorer's table, so for this he's probably facing a ten game suspension and had his bank accounts frozen.
Actually, I think JVG is blamed for giving up on Griffin so quickly. He didn't have time to stunt Griffin's growth since Griffin was doing so much to keep himself off the court. But, really, no one criticizes Van Gundy for Griffin anymore since he hasn't done much for himself in Minn. Why you even want to bring up a non-issue like that is beyond me.
