Im in no way implying we should of kept him, but he is doing good for the mavericks. And Dan langhi he's getting good minutes from the Suns too, how come other teams like our scrubs?

They might be getting more PT elsewhere, but IMO they suck really bad.

Id say to start off, some players are a better fit with one team than they are with another. Simple as that.

To expand on that, Phoenix and Dallas have multi-pass oriented offenses. So hence, its easier for players that cant create their own shots (Langhi and Williams being two good examples) to get wide open looks (which is obviously a high percentage shot).

Langhi is getting more minutes with the Suns but is averaging less points than he did with the Rockets. Williams is down in scoring, FG%, 3pt FG% and FT% with the Mavericks. They may be playing more, but they are producing less.

I often wonder if lLanghi really was better than we could have known. I wish now we would have kept Najera.Williams on the other hand was extremely streaky-very inconsistent. nO LOSS THERE.

Yeah, Horry and Cassell were real scrubs for us.

Walt is averaging about the same amount of time he was averaging with the Rockets. His FG% is worse than last year (a whopping 40%), his 3 PT% is lower than it's been since the 97 season, his FT% is Shaq-like at 56% (unreal), but his rebounds are up almost 1.5.

Yeah, Walt's tearin' it up. Go Walt.

Put Walt on the Grizz, and you wouldn't notice
    him.

Ok, after looking at Walt's numbers and trying to figure out how he's such a steal for them (and laughing for about 2 minutes), I decide to look at Langhi's numbers.

    Huh?

He's more pathetic than Walt. Damn Lanky has yet to hit double digits in any stats except minutes played in a game. He's shooting worse than he did as a Rocket (which I might add is pretty much an insult - he's shooting 35%), he's averaging the mighty 1 rebound per game (which is 1 less than he was averaging for us last year), and if you round the rest of his stats to the nearest whole number, they'd probably all be 0.

    Go go Damn Lanky!

What game are you guys watching?

Comming out of college @ Maryland, Walt Williams was known as the next Magic Johnson. Unfortunately, despite a solid rookie campaign, Walt managed to get worse every year in the league. Ultimately, the guy didn't care enough to put in the effort in the offseason. For this I will be eternally bitter at the guy.

He's busting ass 'cause he's on a new team. Next year, after getting a long term deal, he'll give up and flop as usual.

Exactly my sentiment. It doesn't matter what your role players like Walt play like when you start the season off 14-0. Walt showed up about once every two weeks or about six or seven games. Sort of like Rice except cheaper.

Langhi's getting more minutes because the Suns are not as good as the Rockets. Walt is playing backup for the Mavs, but he wanted to start for us.

The impressive thing about Walt this year is that he's actually playing defense. It helps tremendously that the Mavs are always going with a zone, but he has come up with some big stops, drawn a bunch of charges, and even had a few steals.

When he was on the Rockets, he only played at on one end of the court. What has prompted this change?

Is it contract related or simply because Nelson runs a tighter ship?

Williams is averaging almost exactly as many steals per minute this year as last. Last year he had 18 steals in 1117 minutes. This year he has 6 in 371 minutes. If you multiply the 371 by 3, you get 1113 mintutes. Walt drew charges when he was with the Rockets as well.

Remember how Hakeem Olajuwon started busting ass for the Raptors as soon as he left Houston? What's the deal with that?! It must be Rudy's fault.

I'm so happy the Rockets got rid of these two guys. Langhi was king of the air ball and the Wiz was a highlight clip ready to happen because of his knack for getting rejected.

Where I'm from, "busting ass" is another way of saying somebody ripped a juicy fart...

Does Walt Williams need some Beano?
