    KISS at the woodlands

all i remember is Ted Nugent using many racial slurs and a wave of beer pour down the hill when KISS came out. i remember sitting their having not gotten up in time thinking that my dream had finally come true, to be swimming in beer.

    ACDC at Compaq center

Brian Johnson kept grabbing beers that fans where waiving in the air. He would just down them and throw the cup back out into the crowd. He must have stolen at least 10.

I was at an REO Speedwagon concert back in the late 70's and they were late coming on. Someone brought a fresbee and the crowd was amused. It would go from the floor to the balcony and all over. My friend and I were talking about how far we could throw it. He said he could throw it across the arena to the other side. I knew he had an arm, but I kept saying know way. 10 seconds later the fresbee lands in his lap. He winds back and throws as hard as he could...a wicked slice takes it behind the stage...a place not to be retrieved...the "fun" was over and the whole crowd booed him. I was busting my gut.

I was also at a Kansas concert around 76 that took place in an old movie theater (in Kansas City, Kansas). I had 2nd row seats in the middle of the first balcony. Someone from the balcony above me threw a wet roll of TP and hit a guy on the floor. I can't describe the splat but that was hilarious in my frame of mind at the time.

I was also at a Ted Nugent/Rush/Artful Dodger general admission concert. That was just dangerous. We were all cramed (beyond comprehension) a hallway leading up to the doors. When the crowd swayed there was nothing you could do and the people by the doors (which would bulge from the pressure) and walls just screamed. Not a funny story but just amazing. Once they opened the doors only 1 out of every 3 persons was able to give his ticket to the person before they were pushed through. Passed out during the stage change to Rush. Woke up when it was over only to not remember where I parked my car.
