Actually, I think there are 6 of them. They aired on HBO back in '99, I am told. Or at least, I think there are 6 of them. Downloading them off Kazaa, there were 6 different files of individual shows I could find. They are: Ep 1: The Search for Inspirado Ep 2: Angel in Disguise Ep 3: Death of a Dream Ep 4: The Greatest Song in All the World Ep 5: The Fan Ep 6: Road Gig They are all excellent, and hilarious in their own way. Check them out.
Have you seen Crank Yankers yet? I saw the first one, it was pretty damn funny. It comes on late Sunday night on Comedy Central...you might like it...
It took some thinking. I've laughed at many a thing on TV, intentional and non-intentional. The three funniest things I've ever seen are : 1) The Daily Show's coverage of "Indecision 2000", specifically the coverage of the New Hampshire Primary, and debate and the Conventions. 2) Jason Collier in a headband. 3) Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL with Ferrell as Trebek, Hammond as Connery, Norm MacDonald as Burt Reynolds, and the third contestant doesn't matter.
Watching a couple of my friends in college, high as kites, trying to play Crash Bandicoot. Damn, I'm cracking up as I type this.
Yeah, there are six. They showed in three half-hour segments, two 15 minute episodes back to back. I'm going to go out on a possibly indefensible limb and say that 'The Search for Inspirado' may be the funniest fifteen minutes of television ever. 'Goddammit Kyle, would you *one time kick it*???' In about eight minutes, they're going to show the MTV Movie Awards here in New Zealand. I need to hear the Jack White/Jack Black nemesis song!
Mulder, I think this one is funnier just because of R. Kelly and the spanking. http://www.modernhumorist.com/mh/0206/rkelly/
To answer the title of this subject I think one of the funniest things I have ever heard is this mp3 file. The last file I posted though came pretty close. This is a sample off a cd that is being sold with crazy 911 calls. Joe vs Deer
The funniest thing is not on tv but radio: THE PHIL HENDRIE SHOW, heard in Houston on 950 between 9-12 midnight. 950 has just started tape delaying it. http://www.philhendrieshow.com
