Dog Bites Man was the funniest show to ever run on tv. It ran 9 episodes on Comedy Central back in 2006. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_Bites_Man
I'm sorry I can't stand 2 and a half men. I watch some reruns because the girls (pre-famous megan fox) were drop dead sexy. I dont think its close on any level to office/sunny/curb/30rock. Modern family is too soon to tell, but for 7 episodes its been very good. Theres also another show on ABC, Better Off Ted that's very good. Only 13 episodes for the first season, but has AD alum Portia de Rossi and the lame guy from Andy Richter.
my top 5 are the shows i'm definitely most excited about watching each and every week: 1. modern family 2. 30 rock 3. how i met your mother 4. american dad 5. the office i will say that the league could break in there soon. i'm just now getting into the big bang theory (batman, i tell that to every person i ever talk to about that show) so that could crack my top 5 too. parks and recreation is up there and climbing as is bored to death. if weeds hadn't blown last season or if they'd just kill of nancy, it's move back to my top five. sunny would be a perfect 15 minute show. 30 is too much...the characters really just start to wear on me towards the end of the episodes. i can't really limit this to just five"
i forgot that show on my list..love it. you should set up a dinner with me, my wife, you, girlfriend and Jim Parsons. make it happ'n, cap'n!!!
Top 5: 1) Parks and Recreation 2) It's Always Sunny 3) The Office (this used to be number one) 4) HIMYM (I don't think it is any less funny with Barny no longer being single - he's still hilarious) 5) Glee or Curb (hard to make that call)
Awesome. I started watching this and it's pretty enjoyable. Particularly for the geek references (comic books, Star Wars, etc). He does a great job on the show. My list: 1. Parks & Rec 2. Sunny/Curb 4. Office 5. 30 Rock The non-laugh track comedies have taken over.
