I like pretty much all types of comedy. I also like most of the movies listed here (although I wouldn't consider some of them comedies).

I consider these the cream of the crop:

    Dumb and Dumber

    Office Space

    There's Something About Mary

    Idiocracy

    Superbad

    The 40-Year-Old Virgin

    Bad Boys II

    Anchorman

    Longest Yard

I'm surprised people haven't mentioned those, especially Anchorman

Any of the Jud Apatow and Todd Phillips movies - I especially like these (which may or may not be Apatow/Phillips movies):

    Due Date
    The Hangover
    I Love You Man
    Date Night
    Step-Brothers
    Anchorman: Ron Burgundy

What an incredible Cinderella story, this unknown comes outta no where to lead the pack, at Augusta. He's on his final hole, he's about 455 yards away - he's gonna hit about a two-iron I think. Oh he got all of that one! The crowd is standing on its feet here, the normally reserved Augusta crowd - going wild - for this young Cinderella, he's come outta no where, he's got about 350 yards left, he's gonna hit about a five-iron, don't you think? He's got a beautiful backswing - that's - Oh he got all of that one! He's gotta be pleased with that, the crowd is just on its feet here, uh - He's the Cinderella boy, uh - tears in his eyes I guess as he lines up this last shot, he's got about 195 yards left, he's got about a - its looks like he's got about an eight-iron. This crowd has gone deathly silent, the Cinderella story, outta no where, a former greenskeeper now - about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac - It's in the Hole!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite comedy to come out in the last 10 years. Moving, starring Richard Pryor, is one of my favorite older comedies that I feel is highly underrated.

Ok, that video on it's own should rank up there.

I just thought of a legit choice: Best in Show. I can watch that every day.

    Loved My Cousin Vinny.

Also, Grounhog Day. Another very underrated comedy: Defending Your Life. Not so much due to be the "funniest" movie, but creative concepts and they're movies I can watch over and over.

Vinny Gambini: Your Honor, may I have permission to treat Ms. Vito as a hostile witness?
Mona Lisa Vito: You think I'm hostile now, wait 'til you see me tonight.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Do you two know each other?
Vinny Gambini: Yeah, she's my fiancée.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Well, that would certainly explain the hostility.

    Airplane was just on AMC.

Hard to believe planes didn't have overhead bins and permitted smoking in the 70s (unless that was a joke). Also, glad the religious solicitors have been driven away.

    So many funny scenes...

White little boy trying to impress white little girl:

Little boy: Would you like some coffee?
Little girl: Thank you. Please have a seat.
Little boy: Thank you. Would you like some cream?
Little girl: No, I like my coffee like I like my men. Black.

Rex: have you ever flown a multi engine aircraft?
    Ted: no.
Rex: (forgets to turn off radio) this is a god**** waste of time. Have him land in Lake Michigan. It will save more lives.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, as the last person recommended.
    The Royal Tennenbaums
40 year old virgin (uncensored version)
    The Big Lebowski
