Plus his core audience wanted to be lied to in order to spread talking points about "their reality", which totally negates any desire or motivation for "critical analysis."
There will be no lack of opportunities for Carlson to address the situation publicly in the near future. It will be very on-brand for Carlson to burn down Fox News house.
