Healthy mcgrady is better then anyone on that list.

 

T-Mac when healthy is a better scorer and stat-getter than anyone on that list, but he hasn't proven to be a winner like Manu. He's only got a couple years left to prove himself now.

 

Having the greatest PF of alltime in he's prime a top 5 PG and a Future hall of famer coach helps.

 

T-Macs also never got to play with Duncan

 

Neither did Manu when his gold over Team USA and his Euroleague title.

If i'm not mistaken, this thread is about which one of those players has the biggest possibility of getting signed by the rockets, then i'd say mac and shaq. I'd say we need someone like shaq because we don't have a good center, which we need.

 

We cannot sign both unless both settle for 5 m a year which i doubt.
I am going with Ginobili on this one, i am sure the Spurs will lowbail him enough for him to consider other options.
By then Morey should have known for the Scola experience that Argentine players are great at finding ways to contribute to their teams winning.
Then we can trade Battier or Ariza along with Hayes or Andersen for a bigman.

 

I know they can't sign both, i was just saying them two are the ones who will most probably get signed.

Manu is a better player than Tracy, has been a better teamate and winner.....

Tmac has scored more points, but I would take Manu over Tmac on any team....

you're just talking about last year right (oh wait, manu was injured last year too)? because if you actually believe manu is a better player on their respective careers, i need to have what you are smoking.

you can say manu is a better winner (a lot of guys are better winners than mcgrady), but player, please. you can claim manu is a better 2nd/3rd option b/c manu has never been a first option for his team. and whatever.

BUT manu ginobili has made the all-nba team ONCE in his entire career (and that's a 3rd team). ONCE. that can only indicate at his best, he's been a top 15 player ONCE.

sure it's only an individual award you may say, but i can bring up all the best players in the game (from the kobes to duncans who have been on these teams year in and year out).

and tracy mcgrady has had SEVEN of them.

 

Pure meaningless, Manu is a better teamate, plays more of a team game, and is just a better winnner overall.

I would have traded for him a couple of years ago, and said it in a thread...got blasted for it...but......I think in the end the Rockets would have gotten the better end of that deal.

Tracy leaving this year......Manu would be the best case scenario as a replacement.

ok, don't say he's the better player throughout their respective careers.

teammate/winner, manu has the rings so i can't argue that.

i'm going to hold my judgement until how tracy plays when he returns. but i wouldn't oppose this trade (i would 2 years ago though).

manu is still a very good player. but he's never going to play a full season (and morey wants guys who wants to play a full year). he's averaging only 27 minutes a game and shooting only 41% a game.

however, you have to applaud the spurs' management. if les takes this approach with yao...

 

He is pretty much almost as health as he is going to get right now.
