Him being a number 1 pick and spending all of last year blaming his broken shot on a shoulder injury has something to do with it.

Rick Ankiel is starting to come to mind.

    Still rooting for Fultz.

His shot just looks different even when he is open. Its more mental than anything else at this point. If he could some how get his college form back he could be a decent shooter.

What level of #1 bust is Fultz at right now? Or did he create his own tier?

It's pretty hard to overthrow Anthony Bennett.

There's no future for Fultz in Phila imo, especially with Butler there. I think they should move him for a 4 that fits with their core, but they may want to do that only after Butler resigns.

Ok, so he's not going to be the best player in that draft and he lied about an injury. Which warrants a lot of attention, but the overwhelming rabid avalanche of attention it's getting is not proportional to what's going on.

Surely the #1 pick's only skill is not his shooting. If he has shown dramatic progress on his shot - and he has - then the rest of his game should be worthy of #1 status while his shot comes back.

People are on this kid like he is Kobe or Derrick Rose after their incidents, it is extremely strange. The media imo is pushing an intentionally abusive narrative on someone who might have a neurological disorder.

i believe its mostly mental also at this point. you don't go from a minimal hitch that he worked on getting back to, to what he did at the line once again last night. w/o any reported injury. not sure how long itll take til he can just shoot naturally without having any negative thoughts.

How about, "News of Butler asking to be traded was sparked by Butler asking to be traded."

    He is done...

You will never be able to play this kid against the CP3's/Steph's of the world.

The granny shot is more respectable than the high juggle method.

Markelle Fultz on his new approach at the free throw line: "Yeah it's something I added right now. Just trial and error. It's been working nice for me so I'm going to stick with it for now." Fultz said he feels comfortable with the free-throw style, in which he shuffles the ball back and forth between his hands before shooting.
