Thank you. We played great. It's bittersweet, but now a lot of people will see what we're made of. I don't know who to root for anymore... :D

    World Cup Fever: Catch it!

A man wearing an English flag around his waist is detained by German police officers after clashes between English and German fans at Schlossplatz in Stuttgart, Germany, Saturday June 24, 2006. More than 300 people were arrested after two brief but violent disturbances involving English soccer fans Saturday, the day before England meets Ecuador in a World Cup second-round match.

Don't forget Germany had a big win. Could be 5-0 actually

    A loss is a loss...

    a goal is a goal...

I don't see why people say certain things after a LOSS...

I thought Mexico played great. It took an all World Cup goal to take them down. You can be proud Swoly.

    Thanks. :)
I won't take your instigation. I am happy with the way my team played, and am glad it took the other team 120 minutes, other than the regular 90, to beat mine. If you notice, the tension builds because the other team is supposedly better than mine, but mine gave them a run for their money. I won't " " you or " " you in return. I am upset my team is out, but happy that we didn't go out there and played like wussies... did you watch the game at all?

That was not a "goal" the way you are saying. Also, when you play great, and the score is tied and forces the other team to beat you with a more-than-great score, it means that's what it takes to take you out when with other teams you would get beat with a cheap goal, one that doesn't take a great shot. If you watched the entire game, and look at the stats, Argentina had fewer chances to score, and Mexico's goals were not only because of great goalie stops on the other end. In the end, Mexico didn't finish the game beating a better team because they played better at the end, not during the entire game. That decides this game, not bad calls (well, except for that offsides on Argentina that wasn't, but Argentina made up for it with their own score).

    Wasn't a goal?!

I think I viewed the wrong game or something...

    I thought Argentina won?

Don't be a smart aleck. It is ME saying that... "don't be a smart aleck"... I can't believe it myself, but...

It was an AMAZING goal, not just "a goal" like you say. Yes, Mexico could have played better to stop it, we could have put three guys on that guy to prevent him from shooting it like that, but they would have had to come up with an even better shot than that in order to beat us. Again, don't be a smart aleck, man. Football is football and a loss is a loss... that's why I don't argue with that... I am only pointing out how you think it was just a mere score... heck, I can just score "a goal", but Maxi's goal was A-MAZ-ING.

Other than that, I think david_rocket was just referring to your "rookie" tag when he said "newbie." :D

They got a tough first match in Portugal but if they make it through they should make a nice run.
