That was a great goal by Maxi...unbelievable...Messi is just amazing for a kid his age...i can't wait to see him after a few more years of top flight experience.

At least 1 perdiction came true 2-1 Argentina...and so far my 2 first picks are right...not like it was hard to pick...

Swoly...your boys played great....they had no chance with that goal maxi scored...nothing you could do about it.....

Yes, it sucks. However, Mexico fans have nothing to be ashamed of, their team showed a lot of heart and went down fighting. They've certainly earned my respect.

Swoly-D and david_rocket, you should be proud of your team. We salute you.

i havent seen so much flopping in a game since manu ginobili and the spurs played last. i guess flopping isnt just a ginobili thing, its something all athletes from argentina have mastered. and maxi rodriguez is the master....

i hope germany blanks argentina 10-0

Come on now ... don't be a Mavs fan ... Mexico played great and both teams got some calls on the officiating side.

and btw ... I have not seen a team in the WC that doesnt flop like Manu

Mexico played unbelievable. Unfortunatley they got beat by a hell of a goal.
I think Germany has had it too easy so far. The hardest game they had was against Poland and they beat a Sweden team that couldn't score against T&T.
What does it say about Argentina when their best player so far has been Maxi Rodriguez!! They're deep and I still don't think they've peaked yet.
This will be the biggest match of the tourney barring the Final Game on July 9th.

basketball and football different games. Frankly it's very hard to tell if someone floped in football. I probably never fell down on the basketball court because someone fouled me, but it's very easy to loose balance in football especially in very high speed games

Oh. That hurt. Mexico was playing so well too. One thing I didn't understand is why Mexico kept looking to volley the ball to Borguetti. I did'nt work once throughout the game. They should've tried something different.

It's their go to guy...you don't just go away from it when it is so effective. Unfortunantly they couldn't penetrate the Argentina defense like they wanted to with those volleys. They had some good looks and played well. They weren't beat by a mistake, they were beat with an amazing goal.

I know he's our go to guy. I know he has scored 38 goals in international play, he's the leading scorer in Mexico's history, etc. However, you gotta take a look at Fonseca once in a while, or play the sidelines. I'am not down playing the Argentina win. They deserve it and I sure didn't expect us to win this game but we put up a good game.

Yeah, Im proud of my team and my country, they played unbelievable, they got beat by an excellent goal.

  Yes, that was ridiculous, and the worse is that the referee believe that flops
the referee was awful, but mexico played with heart, no matter what.
    GO GERMANY!!!!!

Yeah, I didnt like Borgetti too, he wasted a lot of good chances.

Yeah definitly agree with you on that one. He wasn't 100% and you could see it but they didn't attempt to go anywhere else either which sucks...it falls in the same lines as Ronaldo and even my teams Ali Daei...the guys can't do what they used to do so why not put the best possible team or try and go somewhere else.

They shuold be smart like teams such as italy that put Toti and Del Peiro on the bench and put their best players in there to make sure they win....or at least make some kind of change.

Ain't no shame in losing because of an amazing goal like that. Clearly the goal of the tournament so far.
