Well I'll definitely be watching the rest of the cup, and I have not quite figured out who I am going to root for.

I will say it is mighty dissappointing to go 3 and out in this World Cup knowing we got 4 more years before they play another Cup game.

I know the next Cup is in South Africa. Have they announced where it will be the next time? It should be in the Americas after Africa right?

    Oh I don't know...

There were a lot of people from my company at the time in a bar at 7 in the morning when the US played Germany for the quarters in 2002. Even my boss's boss was there and no one got into any trouble for skipping work to watch. So I think there is interest here. Maybe not crazy england interest but interest none the less.

Really? I wonder what that line was for that I stood in for the US quarterfinal game against Germany in 2002 at 4 am. It seemed that everyone was wearing a US jersey or US colors. What a strange coincedence.

Australia isn't a very skilled team. However, it's all going forward, relentless attack for them. US should learn from them.

Ronaldo scored two goals. But he looks like an elephant out there. He needs to reduce at least 30 lbs to return to top form.

I must say the team from Ghana is quite contagious ~ I'll be rooting for them in the knockout round.

    I totally have Ghanarea.

Siminic got 3 yellows before being sent off.

Should have been sent off 6 minutes earlier when he picked up the 2nd yet the ref didn't realise

    Go Aussies!

Also, Graham Poll gave two yellow cards to a Croatian player, but forgot to send him off until the guy actually got a third, haha

I said it yesterday and I will say it again, The biggest mistake FA ever made was not giving the top job to Guus Hiddink.
