    Know who did nothing wrong?

    My boy Jimmy Conrad.

I'm thinking Dunivant-Onyewu-Conrad-Bocanegra for the back line in 2010. I'm looking forward to it.

By the way, Bruce, you're fired.

Well, he is going off on Bruce Arenas and beasley. The lady in the studio is trying to blame the players, and he is mainly blaming the coach. He won't let her talk (interupting her). he told her to talk first right when it finished because he's too caught up in the game right now. (my guess is he might have cussed etc.)

He is super pissed off at Bruce and the 4-5-1 setup. Saying just look at the coaching in the first 2 games. The subs etc.

We need some outside blood. We need new and fresh European ideas. ARENA sucks ass. USA team looked like Houston Rockets team with no T-mac and Yao. No leader on the offensive side. They couldn't create, couldn't shoot and couldn't hold the ball  I am glad Ghana won, they deserved it and we should be ****tin on ourselves. I"ll say it, WE WERE OVERRATED!!!!!

Sorry SwoLy-D but Argentina is going to smoke Mexico.

I feel bad for the Czechs but I am really happy that an African team will advance, props to Ghanna.

EDIT: Jim Rome needs to shut tha F#$! up!!!

    Thank you, Team USA.

Now can we quit polluting our airwaves with talk of the World Cup, finally, for once and for all? Now ESPN can get back to more important things like spelling bees and hot dog eating contests.

I don't know if Arena should be fired. But he surely doesn't have a lot of class. Don't only blame the PK, shoulder some blame. Look up the scoreboard, even without PK, US doesn't advance.

Well, looks like I'm going with the family roots and pulling for Holland. Got to go find an orange t-shirt somewhere in my closet.

Dissapointed. This has been a dissapointing World Cup for my teams Mexico and USA. Sigh.

I think, of the teams with a chance, I'm rooting for Spain. I'm interested to see how they'll manage to choke this year.

Otherwise, Tunisia if they make it. Maybe the Koreans.

Also, do you guys remember that corner toward the end where both Beasley and Donovan lined up to take it? What the hell was that? You're NOT fooling anyone, and it's one extra player you don't have in the box to take advantage of an unexpected bounce.

Well my once-every-four-years flirtation with giving a rats hindquarters about the "beautiful" game is now officially over.

    C'mon Rocket...C'mon Texans, Go Rockets

You know what bothers me the most?

Not the BS call at the end of the half, but the fact that the US settled for one scenario with getting through.

They were hoping to win and hope that Italy won too....instead, they should have come out and pushed from the beginning, try to make up that 3 goal difference, in case Italy does not win.

Go for it...don't play passively...GO FOR IT !!

Only Dempsey and Johnshon had that type of an attitude, and Reyna....wow....giving up the ball there was pathetic.

MEX vs. ARG is ALWAYS a good game to watch. We won't roll over and play dead (and miss PK's like we did against POR).

I had to highlight your "Arge", since I am using the DARK theme... :D
    What was Rome saying?
EDIT: Rocketeer, I am still hoping for a good showing against Argentina... [/b]

No. That would be Team USA who scored 1 goal in 3 games.

Don't forget that was Portugal's B team and that Argentina are alot better than the best team Portugal has. Mexico will get hammered.

    Faos,

Gloating about the US doing bad is not very classy.
