I was rooting for the Dutch, but it was a great game for Ivory Coast. They had alot of chances and kept the pressure on to the end.

Come on Angola! Game still tied! Crazy. Angola is the team on the attack it seems the majority of the time now.

Messi would be a starting foward for 2/3 of the teams in the world cup. Tevez and Palacio about 1/2.

I just finished watching the Holland-Ivory Coast match without knowing who won. This is an instant classic and the best match so far. I didn't catch the Mexico-Angola game (was it a decent match?). I feel bad for Ivory Coast but I want Holland to win it all so bad! What a match!!!

Van Persie is playing more and more like his mentor Berkamp, playing striker but having an impact in the midfield and even on defense.

NO way...he was even with the last defender.

For some reason I kept thinking of T-Mac when I saw Drogba:

It wasn't even close, the LB clearly played him onside.

And you were hating on the USA for beating Angola only 1-0 in a scrimmage...

Still Mexico is almost guaranteed to go through.....a draw in the next match cinches it..but if Portugal wins, Mexico is also sitting pretty.

    SIN-GOLA!!!!! SIN-GOLA!!!!.........I mean ANGOLA!! ANGOLA!!!
It's good to see our neighbors to the south suffer a little too......but they will still go through anyways.
Regardless of who starts tomorrow for the barras, they are ALL going to have to pick up their energy and play better as a TEAM. If someone is not playing well get them out of there quick and find someone who will.
When I think about all the non-european teams in the WC, especially the ones like the US who play almost 3 and a half years to get to this point and come up with no passion or enthusiasm. That's what PISSES me off the most. Look at Australia, 25,000 fans come to europe to see them. They play with enthusiasm (granted they were playing Japan) and they have a good chance of progressing!!!
I'm still behind the guys win or lose. But dammit at least go down swinging!!! Even better WIN!!!!!!!!

Man Swoly you should have been over at live today...we were nice and packed for the Mexico game...and talk about having some major chances...that goal keeper for Angola seriously saved them a ton of goals....their defense was amazing.

I did say that teams should beat up on Angola but they seriously do not get tired or give up. They gave Portugal a run for their money and now Mexico. The draw gives Iran a little bit more hope in maybe getting a draw against Portugal and a win against Angola, or vice versa...but then again ill take 2 wins lol...Lets see what happens..but i take it you guys are rooting for us to beat Portugal to give you 1st place in the group.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
    we won, i'm so happy.

Van persie played great, our wingers are amazing. (van persie and robben).

The goal of van nistelrooy was not even close to being off side.

    To bad for mexico.
I do not expect the dutch to become the world champions, however if we finish first in this group we will be able to beat mexico(sorry Swoly). but if we finish second portugal will be more difficult.

    Messi is amazing.
