They are super pissed about it. I thought that was what I was saying.

I understand the concept. I still don't like it.

They need more shots of the fans, especially those of the female persuasion with their midriffs showing.

Ties imo actually make things more interesting. Especially in Group B. I think England will win every game and if that happens the SWEDEN:pARAGUAY and PARAGUAY:TRINIDAD games are gonna be important for the 3 teams fighting for the 2nd spot.

I'm very happy with the dutch result, They played decent, and deserved the win. Van persie is great. van nistelrooy wasn't.

The dutch media is not very positive about the dutch team. They never are. I love van basten, he is amazing. :D :D

i'm happy for Mexico. are you happy swoly-D?

Wow, Mexico finally broke through. I don't know why Gerardo Torrado starts for Mexico. He is waaay to slow in the midfield. Zinha should start or anyone else. Major difference when he came in the game. Vamos Mexico!!!!!

I'am also looking forward to see how Portugal does today.

So you have one Iranian parent and one Mexican parent? I would deploy the peacekeepers right now if I were you.

Portugal goal. In the fourth minute. My wife's mom must be extremely exicted.

What a World Cup. There have been quite a few early goals scored in these games.

Just got back from watching the game. Hope Iran doesn't let down their defense like against Mexico. We got busy during the second half and totally broke down that Iranian D. Boy, that defensive dude who let the second goal through is going to be in trouble. :(

    C'mon, IRAN against PORTUGAL!!!

No way I'd miss watching this game with my family. NO EFFIN' WAY. Nothing against Stack or IRAN, there's just no way I'd watch this MEXICO game without MEXICANS next to me... it would have been tough in Stack's hizzie. :(
I've been saying this all PRE-WC time... Nobody listens to me... :(
Go live in Trinidad & Tobago, ask the question, then come back to Sweden and ask the question... after your wounds heal, talk to me. I can't believe I actually answer to you. Quit your juvenile stuff, yo. Nicely asking, please.

Master Baiter, ask Masters if her country is pissed at the tie... of course they are...

    VAMOS, MEXICO!

Sorry SwoLy-D,I dropped in on this thread late.I've only watched the last three WC's but I'm hooked.Of course,I've seen Pele,Franz Beckenbauer, and all those old school guys(those great Brazilian teams) that they used to show on Wide World of Sports.I have to tell you though, this is a different animal all together.

The good thing about the WC is that ties only happen in the first round. And they do play an important part in making the tournament more fun. A good example is group B. There is no way Paraguay would have a chance to progress after their loss to England if T&T and Sweden had to play until they had winner. With the tie they still have a good chance. And if you ask the T&T fans the draw was a victory in itself and if you ask the Swedes the draw felt like a huge loss.
