I'm going to the Dynamo/Revolution game tomorrow purely to see Dempsey.

For a soccer player he is one cool cat.

I might stop by for that reason, as well.

I root for the Dynamo but I've had this game circled for a long time.

I'm glad Dempsey got unsuspended for the game today, it would have sucked if the Revolution would have come to town without Dempsey.

Here's to seeing him get his ass kicked tonight. :D

It looks like Clint Dempsey has some big plans.

    Dempsey > Donovan

I've only seen him play a couple of times, and he's already my favorite US soccer player.

Do NOT waste $80+ on jerseys from those places when you can get the real deal on E-Bay. I bought a Davids Holland jersey and a Barcelona Jersey on there and they are both authentic ones for a little over $20+ shipping for each. I found the Zidane jersey on ebay (blue one), totally sweet. Check out the link: ZIZOU JERSEY

sorry i can't edit my original response to your post, but

wow i just looked through that seller's selection and it's quite impressive, but how or why is he selling those jerseys for so cheap? the jerseys he's selling look like they're authentic even though the seller doesn't claim that they are. you said both of yours were authentic and you obviously know your soccer, did you buy them from him?

No I did not buy it from this buyer, I bought it back in 2004 so I don't remember the seller's name. I am not sure how they are able to sell it for so cheap but the ones I got were the authentic. I couldn't believe that they were able to sell it for so cheap. I've bought some others that were not authentic but they look exactly like the real deal with the exception of the material not being as good and missing the Nike symbol (most people won't know it is not the real deal ;) ).

My gf got me the Ronaldinho (BRA) jersey from the mall in Staten Island, NY for $60 which is cheap, b/c soccer4all and other stores sell the jersey with no name or # for about $70. If you have any friends in NY, have them check out the malls. Best of luck.

I saw that article, too. All I could say is, "GO CLINT!" He wants to get better. He knows that can only happen by going to Europe. I just hope that he goes somewhere he can get mintues. Donovan needs to take some lessons from this east Texas kid. You have to want to be the best. Ain't no way to do that when you're being coddled in LA. Clint isn't satisfied with being good enough and you have to dig him for that.

If he's going overseas, he will have to learn to control his temper. With the type of player he is, he's going to get hacked...a lot. He needs to learn to deal with it. Other than that, he's going to be a good one and should pass Donovan well before the next Cup as the best in the US.
