France 1-0. The last four final games of the world cup have been shutouts and I doubt things will be much different.
As much as some people dislike France for their country, I specifically dislike Italy because of their calcio. Beside the fact that their league is crooked and that their fans are as racist as the next country, it's the lack of sportsmanship, fair play and blatant condescension shown by the azzurri towards everyone on the pitch who doesn't have a blue shirt on that pisses me off so much. I hope and pray they lose and that any team found guilty of fixing matches in Serie A gets relegated so far down that it takes another 2 or 3 seasons to get back to the top. But I hope that FIFA will also send them a message by not letting those teams play in the CL or Uefa cup as well. Maybe just maybe it will get them to respect the game (you know this isn't the 1st time it's happened in Italy).
I'm not going to even go into detail about their flopping because it's pretty much the second thing that comes to mind when you talk about the azzurri.

Would have been rematch of both Ties 1-1 in Korea 2002 and in USA 1994. In 2002 it was Borgetti's beautiful header and del-piero's liner... are you forgetting we also played Italy in 1994? Massaro came in and scored in substitution (I remember Andres Cantor going: "Massaro, Massaro, Massaro!!!!!"), and Bernal hit an outside powerful shot past the keeper.

Cool down, yo... we're all adults here, man... no need to tell nobody to shut up... I mean, argue your point, at least... let the man say silly things if he wants, but let's not get into fights, gentlemen. Please?

Yeah, sorry. I'm gonna try to argue with this guy even though i like the phrase "Argue with idiot and you become an idiot".

Man this is really nonsense. Yeah, our league is crooked but i'm gonna tell u one thing u obviously don't know: players have nothing to do with all the **** that is going on in our league. So "lack of fairplay and sportmanship"?! Please explain that, show me some examples where italian players in this WC had this kind of attitude beside the De rossi nudge?(which was just a lack of maturity by a young guy playing his first WC).
Racist fans? Once again seems obvious you really really don't know what are you talking about.

I'm not gonna try to justify anyone here, every team found guilty obviously have to pay but i wanna know what all the stuffs that is happening in serie a have to do with the national team?
Anyway, these kind of stuffs happen EVERYWHERE, not just in Italy, just an example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Hoyzer
Or maybe YOU are the racist one which think only in Italy exists mafia and stuff like that?

No, please let's go into detail. Seems like almost everyone is just capable of complaining and crying about the flopping of italian players. Let's make a list of all the flopping of our team in this WC, the Grosso penalty? Did you see the aussie defender raised the arm and beat Grosso's leg? Did you see the defender after an unfair call at the end of the most important game of his team how was furious? He didn't even complain.

    This is anticipated...Thanks in advance.

I didn't follow Serie A much but I think racist problem is much more serious in Spanish League than other places...

An Italy-France final is not bad although I prefer Germany-France more. I am so happy that Portugal is out of the competition as I believe floppers do not deserve any praise. Honestly I have not witnessed so many floppings in other world cup tournaments before but it is disastarous in this tournament. I think referees are responsible to a part of this as they seldom sent yellow cards to those floppers. When I watched the France-Portugal match, I really could't stand those Portugese floppers. The referee was doing a good job not calling fouls on those floppings in the box but he could do better by sending them a yellow card or two at the very beginning as a warning signal. C Ron is talented but chose to be a bastxxd, what a waste!

It's actually at 12:00 (pregame should get you pumped). You want to see good shiznit, watch Univision after the game... "¡Adiós Alemania!" will be wesome. That's entertainment and good pregame stuff.

    "Nudge"?

    Okey dokey.

I don't have a problem with Italy, but I think altogether denying the existence of flopping and racist fans (Lazio, anyone?) is a little bit excessive.

That wasn't a nudge? Sorry, I didn't really know how to say that in english, i look on the dictionary and found nudge. How would u call that?
I'm not denying flopping altogether, but you guys have too realize EVERYONE, every team flops a bit in soccer. That's a bad thing obviously...I just can't see why italian players are accused to be much more floppers than the other.
Yeah Lazio fans are racist and i hate them, i'm talking about national team supporters which are not racist at all.

Ah, okay. I wondered if maybe it was something like that. Nudge implies something more along the lines of a light push - I'd just call it an elbow. I certainly wouldn't know the corresponding word in Italian, so I'm in no position to judge here. :)

Fair enough. Good luck to you in the final.

GO France..... I do not want those Flipping, FLOPPING, Italians to win.

There is no sportsmanship in flopping....NONE !

Teams should stop kicking the ball out of bounds and stopping play when players lay on the ground grabbing their shins and writhing in pain.

Play on ! You want the play to stop, get the ball back.

Because flopping to slow play or momentum of the other team is ridiculous.

Soccer aka football should be better than that.

Were it not for a flop, Italy might be already ousted by the Australians.

    VIVA LA FRANCE !!

    (Almost choked on those words....)

    About Diving in Football:

What if any player that had to be treated had to stay off the field for 5 minutes of game time?

Would that not stop the players from unecessarily diving?

    What do you guys think?

Yes, because Henry certainly hasn't dove any this tournament.

I think that's a good idea, if the trainer comes onto the field or a player is down for a certain amount of time then he sits for 5 minutes.

I also agree that teams should stop kicking the ball out. Sportsmanship is great until people start taking advantage of it.

And FIFA should start using video reviews after games to punish players that dive.

I know many of you disagree, but I think that was a foul from the referee's "POINT OF VIEW". Watch the replay again and it is so obvious that the Australian raised his elbow. I think only the 2 players know if a contact was made or not but I wonder any average referee would not call a foul if he witnessed such act.

I am not an Italy fans and in fact I wish France wins the world cup.

DrLudicrous and freemaniam have already answered for me. Seems like u didn't even watch one single France game to say that french players doesn't flop at all. And the penalty against Australia was regular, as I already said did u see aussie defender almost didn' t complain? It was evident he raises his arm hitting Grosso's leg. So guys accept it, it was a regular penalty. No flop at all.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel, just take example from Basketball and let's introduce "effective time" and stop the chronometer every time the game is stopped so we will never see players losing time when their teams lead. And for the flopping and all other ref decisions I would like to at least try moviola right on the field, but obviously this could be only introduced if "effective time" is introduced before.
I HATE TOO to see players losing time laying on the field or flopping but what really piss me off is reading that ONLY italian players do these kind of stuffs. This is waaaaay unfair. Or maybe u guys have some kind of biased hate against Italy and italians? That really wouldn't suprise me.

Once again this really piss me off. I shouldn' t even answer to a guy who think a team trains to flop. ITALIAN TEAM GET TO THE FINAL BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN MERIT, fix ur brain man.
