So glad France won the match. If Zidane won the world cup, he is officially joining Pele and Maradona and becoming one of the greatest soccer players ever IMHO. He has been struggled in his club games in Real Madrid this season and so depressed that he decided to retire. Perhaps this is good for his national team as he can concentrate on it and give it all to his nation. It would perfect to this Franch gentleman to win the world cup which is also his last soccer match (excluding friendlies of course).

He was named the sexiest player of Euro 2004 and World Cup 2006 by Gay Krant, a Dutch gay magazine.

I think it was a foul, however Henry did make it look nice, i actually do not care if it was a foul, (i have to watch the relpay again to be sure if it really was a foul).

Ronaldo most sexy player, by a DUTCH magazine, in the two tournament that his team beats the dutch team .

    Go ITALY....

Cause I am an American and all that matters to Americans is what makes the US look good. And what would make us look better than to be the only team Italy faced that didn't lose to em

So yeah...screw the integrity of "the beautiful game"

Flop on over to the other side.

    Viva Italia!!

I think it was a foul, but Henry took full advantage. I reckon he could have stayed on his feet had he tried, in which case the foul might not have been called. However, he might have stumbled a bit or lost half a second which would have taken his chance away. So I think it's justified. Have you guys read Ronaldo's comments? He says the referee was against Portugal as they from a small country!

Did he say that :D :D I feel so sorry for him  :D
I gues that is also what happened when they played holland :D . Pathetic if the portugees complain about the refs, there wasn't a country who needed the refs more (because of their flopping) then the portugees.

Yeah, I'm still annoyed about Holland getting knocked out. Now we have to wait two more years till another major tournament! Argh!

Have you read Davids' "open brief"? Crazy stuff..........................

 I didn't see it that way, but nicely put, Major. Except I don't know that the outcome would have been the same... they have been playing without DeRossi (see: McBride gash) ever since not beating U.S. Check MINE out:

GO ITALY, who took the Germans out, who took the Argentineans out, who took the Mexicans out... :D

It's a shame mexico couldnt make it that far. If they would of beaten Argentina the had a decent shot against the germans if they played like they did against argentina. they played the germans in 1998 and lost 2-1 after giving up 2 goals in the closing minutes. And mexico italy would of been a rematch of the 2002 group play game that resulted in a tie or win for mexico (don't remember) oh well
