You think Madvikhia is good...too bad you didn't get a chance to see Ali Karimi at full strength...he is much better than madavikhia...

Figo is old. He is having a lot of touches on the right side but he just can't get pass the French defender because he has no speed at all.

Welcome back SwoLy, and yes I think he did a good job in that game.

In the mexican league he did an awful job, but right now in the world cup, he is doing great, I read that he is the first referee to be in 5 games.

Man to bad we didn't have this ref when we played against portugal, he doesn't give free kicks for flops. We would have beaten portugal
Luckily France wins. The portugees really are anoying.

yeah they are, which makes the way they're subs are being used even more baffling...they brought on three guys who are forwards...i also agree that portugal's flopping and whining seems like its getting worse every game...i wonder what they're gonna do in the 3rd place game

I should've make it more clear...I was referring to the total # of goals he had in all competitions for Liverpool....9 in the EPL, 2 in the FA Cup, and 8 in Europe...on top of that, he has 9 goals for France in 29 caps...almost a goal every three games, which is a good ratio

The Portuguese are crybabies. I'm glad they lost.

I hope Italy wins it all.

DANG. I wanted Portugal to go...

WHICH Will be BLUE... France or Italy? :D

Wo-hoa... nice. I stand by what I said... man, I don't care if you're Quitter-Jordan or Jesus or even Me at full strength, you don't cause SHIZNIT among your team... you encourage, but you don't bring down anyone...

Anybody but the flopping Italians, and Zinadine Zidane is amazing, so I want France.

Karimi is a real good player...Sucks that he wasn't 100%...To me he's just as good as C. Ronaldo...I hope he gets a chance to play more at Bayern Munich in the upcoming season to prove himself even further

    Nice job by France...

Now to beat Italy which conveniently is the team I despise the most in the world cup. They're practically the Dallas Mavericks of the World Cup.

And the Italians aren't? Guess who reported the Frings incident to FIFA. It wasn't Argentina.

I really hope France just destroys Italy. I'm not sure if it will happen. Italy is playing very well. Then again, so is France. If Zidane can continue to dominate, I think France will win.

Yeah the timing has been a bit off but at the same time he finally said what the whole team was feeling for a long time about Daei. Daei has been criticized for a long time by the Iranians because he never wanted to step down. He can't play like he used to and wouldn't step down. He has payed for the National team to play in tournaments and friendlies and all their equipment so they feel loyalty to him but he puts the teams level of play down. Karimi told Daei to stop passing the ball and move up cause he is a forward and should attack instead of just being lazy and walking...ask any Iranian fan out there they will say Daei should have not even been in this WC...that being said..yes the timing was bad but the chemistry of the team was already not good and unfortunanlty most of the times it always stemmed from Daei....not just in this world cup either.

Yeah i would put him right there except that Karimi doesn't flop around and cry like Ronaldo and actually does more than dribble only...but definitly a talent....love watching this guy cut between 2 and 3 defenders with ease.

It was definitley a fould but nicely imbelished by Henry...either way Portugal got what it deserved for the same type of fouls...i have to say i loved it when Kaabi from Iran actually cleated Figo in the head...well worth the foul.
