Hey Swoly, You know how we were talking about the Iran - Mexico game and how the 2 halfs were completly different in their play. Well just found out some more details from people i know in europe and during halftime there was a huge fight between the Iran players with Karimi calling out Daei for not playing well and being lazy, well that didn't sit to well with some players and the morale just came crashing down. i can't believe how much politics there are in football...i mean even your team had some conflict before the world cup and it sucks that it totally messes up the game. Because everyone could see how different we played in the first half compared to the second half.

I wouldn't say he was useless...maybe, as many commentators have suggested he wasn't used properly by Liverpool...He was used as a winger instead of a role playing up-front. Nevertheless, he still scored 19 goals during 2005-2006 and he's way better than Florent Malouda who's been his replacement. In relation to Trezeguet, I completely agree.
That can be a mistake as well...when they fall back like that...i have seen it happy too many times...when you start playing defense only it can have consequenses.
