i knew i shouldn't have watched, brazil was doing just fine until i decide to watch.

i swear even though they lost every time i watch brazil they seem like by far the best team in the world. their passing and ball handling just seems so far ahead of everyone else. i know they were pushing and france was staying back but they got so many chances in such a short amount of time at the end it was incredible. they just seem to know right where to pass it and are able to do it at all times.

but damn it seemed like france had about 15 defenders out there. every time brazil got a great chance their seemed to be about 3 guys there. if ronaldinho could've made that free kick that would've been amazing but it wasn't to be.

I never bet against the German machine, not to mention that they have the home field advantage.

However, I will be rooting for France to win it all. I can't imagine a more fitting way for the great one to end his career.

But DAMN those Germans are scary...

If France plays like it did today then hell, nobody stands a chance.

ronaldo has been past it for the past couple of years. maybr brazil should have tried to use ronaldinho more up front? ronaldinho was a gambler's best friend this season in the la liga.

I'll answer my own question - that was the very first time that happened. First ever Zidane assisted Henry goal.

I'm happy France won it - finally a quarterfinal in which the deserving team won the game. Brazil woke up late late, but 5-10 minutes does not a game make. France had just as many chances to go up 2-0 as Brazil had to equalize.

Wrong, Africa ends at the pyrenees. On the shoulders of the great african nation of Portugal rests the hopes of the developing world. ;)

That was a great game by France. I was the first to say they haven't quite geled thinking they will lose to Brazil but it looks like they are firing on all cylinders. They are going to be hard to stop if they play the way they did today.

I couldn't be any more wrong about them not showing up this game...if they get any more steam behind them they are going to really bulldoze the rest of the teams.

Henry wouldn't let a chance close to the goal slip away. That's what separates a great striker from the good ones. And the great one is Thierry Henry!!!

Damn Germans messed up one quarter of my bracket. The rest is intact. Vive le Zizu!
