The guy has some major talent but he really needs to cool down his temper and stuff. The last game he stared down the refs a few times on certain calls...he will deifnitly get a bad rep and get calls against him for no reason sometimes...that was a very dumb move if it was on purpose...it didn't look to me as if it was but he didn't attempt to get out of the way either.

At any rate that was the most interesting moment of this rather dull game.

    Nice save there...

Yup he does...and on the replay it looks intentional.

I could not tell it was intentional, but clearly he lost his temper, I would have expected a yellow card, but whatever.

Tiger, you are correct, Lampard all alone 5 yards from the goal and he mis-hits it...England has not been able to finish.

    They deserve to go home.

You can't go by "looks like intentional" on plays like that. There is no telling. I believe the red card is for the push, which is a bit harsh.

There is one bright side to the extra 30 minutes....we don't have to wait that long for the next game :)

Is it my or Crouch look completly lost if he has to actually dribble the ball...he is a great target for headers but my god if i ahve to watch that long legged stork try and dribble im going to have to shoot myself.

The last few minutes were pretty fast paced atleast. England appears to have the fire power to be an attacking team, but it seems they prefer to be more tactical and conservate.

This game is a deadlock...can someone PLEASE just win and get this over with

Man I hate watching the English play, they're soccer's version of the 90's NY Knicks, except that they refuse to go away or change very much; still stifling defense and very little flair or creativity.

As for Portugal, they're playing like crap, almost as if they don't care about winning the game, just maintaining the tie.

    Two pretty boring teams...

That's what I am saying. They've been playing like this for what seems to be their entire existence. Their approach to the game never changes, only the players have. They're still the same conservative, tactical, great defensive team they've always been...but DAMN they're unwatchable!

What happens in PK if no one misses, does England lose because they only have 10?

I mean if they all 5 make it then everyone else keeps making it , would England lose after 10 men?

Or do people get a 2nd PK?

I am sure they will let an English player kick the 2nd time.

Then it goes into sudden death PK. Basically like do or die when you play basketball...if the first team makes it you have to make it ....you have to match them or better them.

Woops...just re read your question..i think they just go around...can't remember the last time i saw a GK kick a PK...

I understand that, it happens after 5, but I am talking after everyone has shot, and made it...does a player on England get to take a 2nd PK?
