Take a deep breath...... Now exhale.....

I sort of fell into the ASP.NET development thing over my last 4 years in web application development. ASP.NET is one of the funnest programming languages (VB.NET side) I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It's internal debugging capabilities makes things a snap. This is coming from someone that didn't plan on doing software development. I'm now moving into a Project Mgmt role, because most of the development is either through our IT organization or it is outsourced.

You could always go down that MCSD path.

ASP.NET is not the devil. It is your friend.

no Skywalker, you must not join the Dark side.

Grow a ponytail, lose some hair, gain 50 pounds, and purchase a handy pocket protector as well as several plaid shirts. Then make yourself available for anything with the word Linux or Unix in its title.

    Don't listen to this nerd.

All the cool kids are doing ASP.NET.

Download the free Matrix tool and get to work.

You will get laid. I promise. All the hot chicks are into ASP.NET.

pffttt, what's more important, worrying about scoring with chicks or wielding absolute power in your hands as you laugh at the ASP programmers who have to use Unix servers? Think about it, after you conquer the ASP programmers, you get the hot chicks they have. Remember the Vikings code.

Listen to him talk. What is this Linux thing anyway, but an OS that always had potential, but never weilded it's power to overcome the greatest of all powers. It stood alone, admire only be geeks and dweebs marvelling what it could do only to be pushed aside, because no one had the courage to take on the force of all forces straight on.

Linux is underground. We stand proud on the mountain of dominance. You know what women of dominance have the potential to do.

Come join the mass numbers of ASP.NET and stand proud while Linux pees his pants.
