Any chance the Miller that Doc had a feeling would be a Rocket next year would be Reggie Miller? Miller is a free agent this summer, and the paper said today he may have played his last game in Indiana. Who knows, he might take less than the MCE.

Doc did say "SG East". Also, he said "give me Nachbar and two other shooters. . . ."

Can a new continuation thread be created for this topic? It is very hard to follow a 17 page thread.

    Thanks.

I was gonna laugh about getting Miller. But he does know how to use picks and screens to get open for the shot. Who are we gonnna get on this team that can set the picks and screens? We'll have to trade for somebody, because none of our players know how to do it, unless it's Yao. That's just what we need, a 7'5" praying mantis out 18 feet from the basket setting the screen so a 40 year old man can get off a 23 footer. I say let's sign Karl if we are gonna sign Reggie, and let the two old fogies run the pick and roll, and show these young guys how it's done.

MoT could set screens for Miller, and do a pick and pop if there is a switch.

    That would be cool.
    But why Houston?!?
    He's old...
    How much would he play?
We would still have Cuttino Mobley.

And their minutes are still around 42.
    I don't know what's wrong with that.
Either the coach is too scared to put them out....or the players demand that they stay in or something.

    But anyways...
"He won the hearts of Houston fans but somethings not right.. he can nail half-court threes, he comes up to my knees... he's the man, he's the bomb, hes Moochie! Its pulled back, its a fro, dred-locks... doo-doo rolls on the head of the head of Moochie! Whats on your head? on your head? Moochie! Moochie! Moochie-ie-ie! Whats on your head? on your head? Moochie! Moochie! Moochie-ie-ie!..."

I think that this team should be given at LEAST one more year to grow. It showed flashes of brilliance, but there weren't as often as a lot of us would have wanted.

There is so much room to improve and so much potential, that dismantling this team should be considered a crime. A lot of posters in this board used to get upset that Rudy only used to get seniors in the draft of veteran players.

I still remember posters getting on Rudy's case for not going with youth. He finally does and people get mad. This is the reason Rudy never went for youth, because it takes a little bit of time to develop.

People were calling Mcgrady and J. Oneil flops. Look at them now.

People are calling Griffin a flop. Wait a couple of more years to label him that. People who've seen him say he doesn't practice hard. Griffin has some nice post up moves which he can use to make a solid All-Star NBA career. But, he does need to get stronger. The sad thing is that when he becomes real good, he'll be a free agent the next year, and everyone who said trade him will be praying he resigns.

A good majority of the coaches agreed that Griffin has the tools to become an elite player. He's 20 years old. If he's not there by 22 then label him a bust. What a joke. "You can't have your cake an eat it too" when you draft in the 7th spot in the draft. Patience my fellow posters.

rip playing the point? nah...he is a better shooting cuttino if anything but his defense is paper thin (uh, like cuttino) . he is a shoot first player (and a pretty good one) but he averages only 2 assists a game. maybe and upgrade at the two but certainly not at pg. i would still trade a braided pg for moochies fro though.

After it has been a few weeks from the season and I've had time to think, I'd like to jump back on the develope Eddie bandwagon. Unless you can get a Brand or someone of that caliber for him, then let him stay.

First of all.. Rudy T needs to be gone...second of all cat needs to be cut loose..Third moochie does not belong in the nba. trade cat to the bulls for jamal crawford, move steve to the two guard resign posey.

    pg jamal crawford
    sg steve francis
    sf james posey
    pf eddie griffin
    c yao ming

griffin is only 20 he needs a better coach to develop under, he does not nee to be traded .

How about getting Jason Kidd and Martin for Cat, Eddie Cato and Taylor.

I think that will resolved a lot of lacking on the floor.

Is this your first post this year?
And is your first post of this year supposed to be sarcastic?

    Anyways......

Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin for Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin, Kelvin Cato, and Maurice Taylor. LOL. I wish man.

    This would be so simple.
    Cover all our weaknesses.

    Really.

But New Jersey would no way in heckland do it....unless Kidd says he doesn't want to return to New Jersey.....which will not happen.

Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin, Terence Morris, Maurice Taylor, and a 1st Round Draft Pick
    FOR
    Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin.

    Oh I wish.

I think that was exactly his point. Juaquin must = Alfred Einstein in Spanish.

Ever realize how we joke about hte Collier for Shaq/Kobe trade?
